This repulsive substance is secreted by the inconceivable T’kach creatures, if I dare call them so, since surely no creation of Allmother’s they can be. Its lure apparently lies in its origins: those abominations prey on forsaken souls, of which there is certainly no shortage in this place to end all places. The Goqinra have come to a novel conclusion about this sacrilegious diet: they believe that the T’kach droppings represent the final refinement of life itself and that imbibing them reveals the hidden patterns of the very Weave, tearing down the curtains of mortal elements. Thus, they seek out the T’kach whenever they manifest, in order to do soul for sap, as they call it… But I am assured that only those most desperate among them, those who have come to find no meaning except in the visions this vile material brings, are willing to truly offer one’s own element for trade to those ever-hungry mandibles. Most simply bring bound banshees.
One thinks therein may lie the reason the Goqinra employ the term to simultaneously mean excrement, and consequently, disappointment.
